Railway track maintenance

As of the second half of 2018, our scope of activity is expanded by maintenance and renovation work on the railway tracks. 

In addition to the machines and equipment owned by VASÚTVILL Kft. and necessary for performance of its railway track maintenance activities, the company group’s machinery for laying tracks and turnouts grants us access to additional resources. This wide range of machines is in line with the applied technologies and ensures we have a stable technical background for performing complex construction tasks.

The available machinery and equipment:

• Tamping, lifting and straightening machine:   09-32 CSM (Plasser & Theuer)
• Aligning & tamping machine:                              UNIMAT 08-475 / 4S (Plasser & Theuer)
• Dynamic track stabilizer:                                      DGS 62 N (Plasser & Theuer)
• Ballast distributing and profiling machine:      USP 2000 SWS (Plasser & Theuer)
• Track and turnouts laying system:                      Geismar S2PV

This fleet of machines makes the company suitable for performing railway track construction, maintenance, and reconstruction works and repair, reconstruction, and regulation tasks involving large vehicle superstructures.

The machines used for maintaining railway tracks and the staff that operate those have all the necessary official permits and licenses that ensure they meet all the conditions for safe transport and work on railway networks.
