The VASÚTVILL Ltd. has nearly 70 years of professional experience, its roots are based on the MÁV Villamos Felsővezeték Építésvezetőség (Electric Trolley Wire Construction Management Agency of the Hungarian State Railways), established in 1949. This fact determines the Company’s professionalism, mission and the position on the Hungarian railway overhead construction market.
During the last decades VASÚTVILL Ltd. has built and renewed thousands of kilometers of overhead wires around Hungary, taking part in all significant railway projects including electrification works.
Our company has nearly 200 employees and has significant professional experience with all technical equipment required for the construction of overhead wires. With these human and machine resources, VASÚTVILL Ltd. is the largest company in Hungary for the construction of overhead contact line
The market position of the company strengthened following the change in ownership in January 2017 and currently it carries out several catenary building and reconstruction projects along the Hungarian railway network, financed by EU funds and national budget.

To increase competitiveness and to be able to offer complex services – Including complex reconstruction and maintenance works (not limited to electrification) – we are extending our activities and business scope.
Our company has been certified for more than 20 years, so our management system has been certified according to ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 by TÜV Rheinland, in the areas of construction of electric overhead wires and connected equipment.
